Global professional services company Turner & Townsend has appointed two senior leaders to support its growth and expansion in Asia – Jonathan Baker, who joins as managing director, energy and infrastructure, and Alex Katsanos, who joins as head of advisory across the region.
Baker, joining from Mott Macdonald, brings over 30 years of global leadership experience to the company and will be based in Singapore. Career to date, he has advised clients across multiple sectors, including advanced manufacturing, defence, industrial, nuclear, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, ports, power, transportation and water. At the company, he will drive complex major programme capture and delivery for public and private clients across Asia.
Katsanos, seated in Hong Kong, has over 25 years of consulting experience advising both public and private sector companies across operations and infrastructure spanning East Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. He brings experience in policy, transformation, operational improvement, capital planning, smart cities, digital strategy and procurement excellence. Katsanos will focus on accelerating the growth of the company’s advisory business in Asia by strengthening its support to governments, investors and asset owners across the region.
